Ok, long story short...I was buying some parts from a guy off CL for one of my trucks! He was about 1hr away so we agreed to meet about at the 1/2 way point. So, as I'm driving there to meet him, he texted me and said he would be driving a 76 Ford 4x4--Black! I thought cool deal, right!? So, I got there about 10 minutes early, THEN all the sudden I see this massive truck coming down the road, thinking NO-WAY!! He pulls in with tinted windows, opens the door and these automatic step bars appear from under the door/cab!! I'm thinking WOW, who is this dude--since I "thought" I knew most of the sweet rigs here in southern Indiana!! Out steps this 25yrs old kid, thinking this must be his dad's right, NOPE it's his and his dad helped him build it. It's a 76 F350 4x4 CC dually with a 12V cummins and semi-tires and wheels! His dad built one just like it several years ago but it was a 79 which I had seen before and actually talked to him at a off-road jamboree's!! What a cool ride!!
Wow, that thing is pretty sweet, thanks for sharing. It's always cool to see someone else's nice dent when you go to buy parts from them. Glad it doesn't have huge stacks in the bed lol
After someone showed me this low-budget (and hardly viewed) fake commercial, I now (affectionately) call these rigs "Big 'ol Stupid Trucks". That's one of the coolest "Big 'ol Stupid Trucks" I've ever seen!
I gotta say too, I love that he put that much money into a classic truck instead of buying a new one and doing all that work. It seems, around me, its only brand new trucks that are that "done-up". This one is definitely a show-stopper.
No this is the only pic I got of it but I'm planning to go to a truck show with him and his dad next month so I will snap a few more of it!!

I'm not sure how big it is but it look like you could have shoved a volley ball in there!!
I was planning to take my 79 F350 that I just recently restored just to get a few miles on her but the weather forecast was calling for severe thunderstorms so I just drove my DD
