so the title is pretty self explanatory. The truck's rear bench is in Key West Florida, sitting in the PO's garage. shipping it up here is going to involve a)his cooperation and b)about 350 dollars in shipping as far as I can tell. So I am looking for one of 2 things:
thing 1) someone who has a suggestion of how to get my 3rd row bench from a gent's garage in Key West up to Portsmouth NH for less than 350 dollars; or
thing 2) someone in the Maine, NH, MA area who is looking to sell a 2005 Ford Excursion rear tan leather bench with belts for less than $350. I know that many different benches will in theory fit, but I'd like to match the pattern that is supposed to be there. If you happen to know which models and years have the same pattern, (for example "yeah, dummy, all expedition and excursion seats from 03-05 are exactly the same") that is info I'd like to broaden my search.

Any suggestions, please post. I have been trying CL and have not found what I'm looking for. If you have a bench I can purchase, please PM me the details!

PM ExploringNH ..... at one time he was looking to get rid of both his second and third row seats. Not sure if his are the same (tan).... but it don't get any closer than that.

Only other help I can offer is that I have been told the third row out of an Expedition is the same seat as the Excursion. Hopefully someone will confirm or deny.

 

Will it fit on a greyhound for shipping? That used to be the cheapest way to ship things like this.

 

I just shipped an 2014 f450 front bumper via greyhound. It cost me right around 100 but I think the seat would be to wide to fit their dimensions.

 

It would be cool if all us east coast ex owners would deliver it to you for free...

I can go down to key largo and drive it lets say 100 miles north of Fort Lauderdale.

 

I'm willing to help out if I'm in the right direction or on the way. Just let me know.

 

I am the one picking up the seats from exploring NH and I will be in NH this weekend. I was grabbing the 2nd and 3rd row to have an extra set just in case. Who am I to deny another X owner a 3rd row seat??

Man, I gotta say, that is a spectacular offer. You guys are a great group on here, especially the offer to each drive it 100 miles Twitch...who am I to deny a guy an extra set of seats if he is willing to drive 600 miles to get 'em? Use them in good health, I'll figure out a way to get my seat up. Maybe next time I am in Miami I'll day trip it to Key West, and try to Greyhound the bench from Miami! Thanks guys! ZS

I've heard of excellent results of big heavy stuff being shipped with Fastenal.

They are a nut and bolt / hardware supply distributor / wholesale / retail outfit that ships their own product on their own trucks between warehouses.

I hear it's relatively cheap.

Seriously consider the dog leggin' it up to you option. I will be in Myrtle Beach, SC for work on the weekend of May 15th, and back in Laconia, NH in June. My schedule will be swamped in Myrtle Beach, but if you can figure out a way to get it to me there, I will take it to Laconia in June.
