I like it, when do they go on sale?

 

I've received two PM's about the logo and told both of them to go for it. I have a slightly updated version I can send who ever does this.

I did lose my job but got another one immediately and have been getting settled in. I apologize for neglecting this for so long.

 

Sorry to hear you did lose the job. Sometimes its the best thing to happen. I lost a job lasty July. We shook hands...and I said thanks for the two favors.....hirin me and firen me. I had a new job 4 hours later and am now the senior guy. They did me a justice by letting me go.

 

i haven't ever been fired really but i was not "rehired" for one of my workstudy jobs in college. so instead of working in the music department where i loved working, i ended up tending a computer lab which fit in great with my major of programming. i really just ended up typing one of the dr's lab manuals for her new class and she was such a great lady. she gave me a real card for valentines day that semester and i felt really bad becuz i didn't assume my boss would do that, so i got online and sent her a really cute egreeting card and she thought that was just me becuz i was so into computers. from what i hear, she took the lab manual i typed up for her and she's still using it all these (like 3) years later! haha i guess whoever comes up with whatever design should probly run it past krosati since he's our chapter leader and moderator so he can run it past ken and go from there. i hope everything keeps going good for you!

 

I think the logo looks good. As long as Ken approves of it, I'm sure we can use it.
Most graphics stores can use a high res fiel to scan from the PC.

 

so are we going with this one with the state shape or the other one just the flag with the letters over it.. ?

i personally had to really LOOK to see the FTE on the other design but once i found it i thought it was clever. maybe after people are done submitting them, we could vote on the one we like and go from there.... they may want to keep a uniform design between the states that distinguishes them but lets anyone who's seen one make the association to the club in any state.. but i don't know..

No offense to Ubermich, but I really like the Texas logo best.
The FTE was clever in the flag but if it's on a window, your not gonna see it unless you know it's there.

 

It looks good. However, the transparency is going to make it difficult/expensive, if not impossible, to print on some surfaces.

 

Hey, no offense taken. I even said I like the Texas one better. I just sketched mine up in a few seconds

 

I think a sticker like that on the back glass of my truck would be most excellent. Where do I get one?
