Wheel and Tire Question
So from all my reading, you can fit 35x12.50 and 315x75 on 4WD trucks that have a leveling kit. Yes I am seeing it is tight, but it can be done from my understanding and experience. The truck had 315x75x16 on the stock wheels when I bought it with autozone 2 inch blocks in the front and the only thing that rubbed was the leaf spring.
Since buying the truck years ago, the suspension has changed some. In the front now is a 2.5 inch spring pack leveling kit, and 1 inch hanger kit. So this should be 3.5 inches in the front right now. Back has roughly 5 because I tow, and want to have it level when towing. This is a 2000 4WD F250 7.3.
The wheels I already purchased and planned on running after I went to 5 front and 6 rear are Moto Metal 20x10 with a -24 offset. They are going to stick out and have a wider stance then most of the 8-9 inch wheels.
Now my question is......
Can I mount 35x12.50x20 tires to them and run them on my current setup without any major issues? When I bought them I was told they would work, but I needed a drop pitman arm. Now is this true, or can I mount them and go now while I continue to build my suspension fund a little more? I wouldn't usually be in such a hurry, but with inspection coming up and knowing my current tires wont pass, I am in a hard spot. I don't really want to go to a smaller tire and waste the money to be buying new tires again in 6 months.
Thanks guys.
