Lift kit
You will get as many answers to "which lift is best for the money?" as you will "which tires are best for the money?". I like my Tuff Country lift and, with the help of my wife, buddy and brother, I was able to install it myself. New rear springs, front springs, extended brake lines and radius arms along with all the necessary drop brackets for the TTB front axle. I will be honest. It was a PITA. Not that I didn't have fun doing it but, there were bolts that had to be cut off due to rust and corrosion, a stock bracket that broke and a stud that ended up cross-threaded. All were very "fixable" but it was a time consuming project. If I had it all to do over, I would either pick a more suitable location (I did it on the driveway since after the lift it wouldn't fit in garage anymore), or I would have someone with the ability to pick up the entire truck at once do the job. Now if I had access to a garage with a lift in it, I'd volunteer to do it again. But thats the kind of masochistic fool I am. Whatever you decide to do, work safely. It was a great feeling of accomplishment to pull off the driveway sitting 4" taller than when I parked it.
