Ok fellas. I have ran into a little problem. I have a new IPR and a new ICP. The ICP is reading about 625 psi at an idle. My truck at an idle will go between about 650 and 550 rpms and bounce between them constantly. I can't figure out the problem. I'm pulling a CPS code so I will replace that this week but would that cause my ICP to read high???
625 psi is about right at idle I think. CPS can cause the rough idle though. If you're getting a code for it, I would definitely change it. You probably already know this, but only get one from Ford or IH. The parts store ones are junk.
Just replaced the cps. Cranked for a while then started. Ran fine for a minute or so then got rough and died. I'm really stumped. Didn't get a check engine like and. I tried to restart it and it was rough as hell.
