2001 e350 4x4

Can I put a 4r70w 4x4 out of a 2001 f150 5.4 in to a 2001 e350 5.4 that came with a 4r70w?

I put a 4r70w from a 2001 f150, and put it in my 2001 van. Everything works good untill I get on it......It down shifts fine, but when it shifts back up it feels like its in neutral, untill I come to a stop. After I stop it takes off fine again. If I shift it manualy it seems to work fine????

^^^That sounds more like an internal problem with the transmission, not so much the swap into another vehicle.

Perhaps Mark Kovolsky will pop in and offer his thoughts.

So I took it out for a drive this weekend, If I turn the overdrive off it doesnt do it. Some one told me its probably the valve body.....??? What do do you think?? Anyone..... Heres a pic of my Van!!
