I have a 351 Cleveland from our race car I am going to be installing into my 55 f100, I'm just not sure what transmission I need to get. I want the strongest transmission that with withstand the power from the 750 horse power engine. Looking for an automatic too.

 

You have many choices, AOD, C4, C6 or a manual. Just make sure it is gone over by a transhop and built up as they are all easily modified to work. Many vendors will send you a trans that can be ordered online that will handle this amount of HP. If you go auto, make sure you get the right amount of stall in your converter to match your set up.
