I've been rebuilding my 75 since last august, I have it running and driving like it should now but have oem issue I can't figure out.
Everything in the cab is dead until the key is on, no dome light, no headlights nothing. Soon as the key is on it all works perfect.
I had to redo the main power wire under the hood for the cab all I did was splice it and run it to the starter solenoid again.
What am I missing? I don't understand why it's all dead when it's wired just like factory, when I first started it the key wouldn't shut off the motor I had to run a new ignition wire to the coil also other than that no weird issues.
There should be constant power supplied, via a fusible link, to both the ignition switch and the unswitched portion of the fuse panel. Sounds like you're missing the latter.
Would anyone happen to know what wire or color wire it is I need to hook up to the fuse box main power? I didn't really understand the wiring diagram with the quick look I gave it.
