Broken speedo cable?

I heard a pop lost night driving my 53. I actually thought Something in the bed fell over. Well, today I noticed the speedo is no longer working so my thinking is the line broke. I don't know anything about these but I would like to get it fixed if I can do the work. Any help is much appreciated .

I'd pull the cable a loose from the speedometer first then have someone watch the cable while you drive the truck if it doesn't turn there ya go, changing a speedometer cable ain't that difficult.
