Are the body mounts the same between 2wd and 4wd trucks, as far as the rubber pucks and metaI tubes? I have a 78 f150 4x4 chassis that Is in need of mounts but nobody specifies if they're all the same or not. I'd hate to buy the wrong ones. I spent almost 2 hours trying to seach it up and it's almost impossible when using a phone
Yes, the body mounts are the same for 2wd and 4wd F150s for model years 1973-1979.
Prothane is one vendor who has a very comprehensive list of all of their urethane "pucks" and bushings for the F150. I used them on my 79 F100 and they went on perfectly.
