how do I take off the crank pulley??

Sorry for the stupid question, but I've never had to pull the pulleys before. I got the four 9/16 or what ever they were. How how do I get the big one in the center. I have the correct size socket and a breaker bar, but I'm just turning the engine over. How do I stop the engine from turning over to break it loose?

Thanks
Austin

Screwdriver in the flywheel teeth at the inspection pan will work. You'll need a puller to remove the dampner itself.

Do you have to take the dampner off?

I think with the 4 bolts off the pulley is off, give it a wack and it should fall off its stuck.
