Hi guys,
I am new here. This is my first adventure into building any sort of hot rod. A dream of a life time for me. I have picked up a 53 pickup that needs to be put together. You can see where I am at in the old truck forum. I was wondering if there is anyone in the Ottawa area that I could talk to about building hot rods. For me touching and feeling is easier then using the computer. I am so lost that I don't even know what questions to ask or what bolts to buy for the parts I have.
Welcome to FTE - there are great, knowledgeable people on here. I just don't happen to be one of them. I have a beat up 75 F100 that I hope to get back on the road, but it is in the Maritimes where we have a summer cottage. I hope you find someone in the area to help you out.
Hi Bruce and thanks. You are close to me. I live between Richmond and North Gower. My phone number says I live in Richmond but my mailing address says North Gower. Oh and in an emergency the Richmond fire department comes, go figure.
Anyway, if you are interested in seeing this hot rod to be let me know and I will be in touch with you.
