'Tis true. I do believe that HH is really worth $3800 but it's been listed for several weeks. Others in the $2K-$5K range aren't worth anywhere near that.

As I'm often fascinated (and/or confused) by numbers, I just took a spin through the thread.
I started this six weeks ago tomorrow. In that span of time, 122 CL Colorado trucks have been shown, minus the straight 6 engine and the bus. So 120.
79 are gone, the vast majority of those being sold (ad deleted by the author) and a few expiring and never being relisted - so we'll offer the benefit of the doubt and say the expired trucks were also sold, either locally or on CL and the owner never bothered to remove the ad.
79 out of 120 is 2/3. So two-thirds have found a new home. Of the remaining third that are still listed, a majority are either total crap - having suffered years of abuse and neglect and probably past the point of restoration - or are ridiculously overpriced. I realize that some folks fall on hard times, and are selling off some junker that "needs (fill in the blank)". But if you're selling a non-running boat anchor, you gotta be rational about what it's really worth. As we've discussed on this forum, it just doesn't matter what the seller has into it; it only matters what folks are willing to pay.
I'd still like to see HH for $3800, just to ooh and aah if nothing else. I'm actually quite surpised it hasn't sold. ZZZ and WWWW may have great possibilities and are reeeeeasonably priced.
So back to the question ... What's a bullnose worth? There's undoubtedly a dwindling pool of guys that can turn a wrench. Lots of youngsters tooling around in leased Rams, with zero interest in working on a truck, and who never had a dad or a high school shop class to show 'em. Strong economy in certain locales brings more interest in new vehicles. Poor economy in other locales may mean workers need something reliable, and can't afford the risk of putting thousands into a money pit.
eBay obviously has a much wider spectrum of buyers. That stunning, restored '86 F150 still hasn't sold, with a Buy It Now tag of $13,900.

So considering all the points on the Used Truck Shopper's Checklist, and figuring every truck has a different set of variables based primarily on body, engine, and mileage, and looking at what's selling on CL and eBay - it appears that $1200 to $3500 is currently a decent ballpark for a good Bullnose. With low mileage, solid body, documented engine work ... $4200 to $5000 isn't out of the question.
This may all change in another decade, meaning a noticeable increase in value. I'm still noodling over the possibility of adding an older Bronco to the stable. And like old Jeeps, a good 'un doesn't come cheap.

Don't it shine, though?
Definitely in the top 5 of what we've seen on this thread, and at that price from a used car dealer, it almost makes no sense. I have to wonder if the owner died and the heir traded it in on a used 'Stang ... heck, even with the add-on extortion charges, it's STILL a deal.
There are $5-$8K Bullnoses on eBay that aren't even half as nice as this one.

(Check out the mileage on this beauty!)
(U5) 1984 F250

(W5) 1986 Ford F150 4x4
1986 Ford F150 4x4 - $3000<small> (Evergreen)</small>
I emailed the seller about this one. V8, 4WD, body looks really solid. Rear end locked up on the freeway last weekend. Tow guy said $500 repair, but that doesn't mean much. So, seller wants buyer to tow it away from their house, and repair rear end after purchase. That's too big a variable for me.
