Big Red build thread...
Figured I might as well add my own build thread...
Beginning with a 2003 Excursion 7.3 XLT 4x4..
So far riffraff has been my best friend:
Rebuilt fuel bowl, pedestal o-rings, EBPV deleted, AIH-deleted, RiffRaff WW2 billet turbo wheel, CVD fittings, and RiffRaff intercooler boots. Also replaced ICP, installed Fumoto drain valve, interior lights changed to LED, installed Kenwood stereo for bluetooth and better sound. Also added rear sway bar, and new bushings and end links for the front sway bar!
This week will replace steering box with Redhead...should be here tomorrow!
Have like new v-codes and will do the b-mod for the rear, also trans rebuild is on the horizon, and gear swap probably 4.56..Also need gearhead tunes and some injectors, plus 4" exhaust...and now I am broke!!
Thanks,
Art

Art, what's the thinking behind 4.56's on the 7.3? Just how big of a tire are you looking to go to?
Clay has so much of my money already and will be getting a lot more here soon, hah. My wish list over on RiffRaff is huge!
When you get ready to prep for the trans build let me know. If you're interested, I have a full build sheet with prices and sources for the build I'm currently doing.

Pics - added link to my album...let me know if you cannot see it. Took me awhile to figure out how to link it so I added it in my sig.
4.56 with at least 35's. If my math is correct should give me close to 4.10 ratio...Unfortunately I live on the side of a hill here in CO, and the truck don't fit in my garage so pretty much paying to get everything done. Now if I was back home in TX, I would do everything at my dad's shop, but that is not happening.
