1986 F-150 problems
I own a 1986 Ford F-150 XLT Regular cab and I am in need of some help... I have ran into some minor problems and im afraid they may be major. I have a serious battery drain problem. I have tested the battery and all the fuses when removed the test light is still on. And i know where the alternator is but where is the voltage regulator...? And is it possible to put in bucket seats in place of a bench seat? Reply ASAP

Unplug the VR (right where 85 said) and see if the test light goes off.
BTW Exactly how do you have the light connected?
Buckets can replace a bench easily if you get the bases & bolts with them. You'll also need the short seat belts.

OK...I found out it was the Started and starter solenoid. My trucks running now. But I have a bigger question now... I was wondering how I can transfer a V-8 from a conversion van into my v-6 truck?

Don't you mean I-6 because there wasn't a V-6 offered in that peticular truck. The Inline 6 to V-8 swap is pretty straight forward, but without a donar truck, it gets expensive quickly.
