The mobile web template is slow and not very responsive (even on my quad-core phone) - the app was quicker...
IB took down the app without warning anyone they were going to do it...
IB decided to develop a new app - which is fine - but it would have been nice to get some forewarning first - and, why they chose not to run the new app development in a testbed while keeping the existing app running in the live environment is a bit of a mystery to me - why take down something that actually works while developing something new? Not all of us have the luxury of living off of a wifi connection and actually need to use our 3G/4G data...
Whatever - it is what it is - you can't please everyone all the time - but a little more friggin' communication would sure be nice...

In development of the Beta, it inadverntenly created issues with how the site connects with the older application from the play store. After that, it was decided the best course would be to push to submit the "updated" BETA to the iOS and Android app stores.
The updated Android BETA has just been released to the app store and Apple should take another 7 days because of their longer approval time.
No luck here .... Reloaded app , no go . Am I missing something ?
At first I didn't have FTE show up so I closed the app and waited a few days. I opened the app back up today and FTE was there and works pretty good so far. I still use the mobile version also which works great also.
Try deleting the app off your phone and reloading it from the app store.
I have deleted , and reloaded three times in 2 weeks . No go still . It is wonky ... I can see some new , current , posts . But None I have replied to .
It worked for me the first time. When I first loaded it it didn't have FTE but at the bottom there was a link to add a forum. I then added FTE and has been working great ever sense.
Just tried again " remote server sent an unknown response . This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict . " " there are no visible forums "
Just got that again ....... Tired of it , App is broken .
What is this " mobile version " you speak of ? I can not find it ...
If you're using using your browser to access FTE, scroll to the bottom of most any page and click "View Mobile Site". Its a lighter template, and is easier to view/interact with on portable devices. It isn't full featured, but the recent improvements have made it more useful.

Did you find the "view mobile version" yet? I like it because you can upload pics from your phone. No more sending them in a email to yourself and then going on your desktop computer and downloading them to only upload them again in FTE. Both the app and mobile version are 100 times better.
