No start/ no spark

Have a 88 bronco ii Has the 2.9 and manual tranny. Last night coming home it ran fine until just before my driveway. Then it just shut off like I turned off the key. Tried to restart.....No luck. Checked for fuel in the fuel rail. pushed the detent in the valve and it sprayed out like crazy. going to check spark next. It just had a tune up 4 or 5 months ago. Wondering what else to check? Any ideas? thanks

Check the inertial switch under the carpet below the firewall on the Pass. side, it may have tripped or gone bad, you can jumper the wires going to it to test it for functionality.
