Replace Factory Cluster in '93 Ranger
I have a '93 Ranger XLT 2.3L with the 5spd Man. Trans. I Purchased a new Guage cluster off of ebay from a bronco II (or somethin like that, seller didn't say what it was from) but it is the correct cluster to fit my truck and it has a tach. (which I didn't have originally). The wiring harnesses and speedo cable connections are the same on the back but the wire contacts do not lead to the same guages. Does any one know where I could get a diagram for this harness to rewire it for the new guages. (I already have a chilton complete repair guide for my truck and it does not have the wiring for the harnesses or the cluster it self.)

I'd take a meter to my old panel and connectors to determine which wires connect to what instrument, then mark them. Then I would cut away the old connectors and attach new connectors to match up the wires and instruments on the new panel. If you search you'll pbobably find info from past threads re wiring the tach. Good luck.
