Thanks very much. I've been on for a bit. Trying to get my truck right. I'm a Chevy guy so this is all new to me. Having really hard shifts and o/d lite blinking. Code is VSS. Gonna try that first. Thanks again

vss is speed sensor-there are a few variables on those codes

More than likely you are right OD.... replace that sensor above the rear end and you'll prob be good to go.

Changed VSS and it worked for about 4 hours. I don't know what to do now.

So you are saying that the OD light is blinking again? If so go up to the tranny forum and ask there. Make sure you include the year/model/engine truck you have. Or if you go there search around...someone else prob has already this problem.
