I just purchased a 95 limited with ALL the happy suff Ford had in 95. The seller told me the left lowbeam had stopped working about 6 month ago. He checked the fuses and replaced the lamp without luck. He then took it to his mechanic who found a wire under the message center location that when he wiggled it, the light would come on and off. By playing with the wire, he was able to get the light to stay on. The selled said it worked for a few monthes, but then stopped working again. On the paper work, the mechanic list the DRL module as being the problem. From what I have read on this site, I think it could be the LOM module. Can someone tell me what the name of the module under the message center in the 95 limited?
I should have posted a follow-up to my first post. After buying the 1995 Ford Truck manuals, I was able to follow the troubleshooting steps that took me to the lamp outage module. I pulled the LOM and was going to replace it, when I decided to open it and check out the inside. I found a cold solder joint on one of the two lines used for the left lower beam. I resoldered that point and it is working perfect.
