Got Good news.. bad news.. more bad news.. and really sucky bad news...
Lets start with the + news... I wont need to buy a new tranny as mines repairable for cheaper than a new one... YAY...
Bad News.. i had a really F*up tranny... .. Being that my T-5 was a WC t-5 it used fiber disks between the gears which the water that got its way into the tranny destroyed to nothingness... Also beat the heck out of the brass syncros... And because both of those were mutilated they beat the bearings to less than good status...
The worse bad news... Ill be out $1690 to get it back and will be just like when it came off the assembly line..
The really sucky bad news... Now i dont know when ill get to fixing the truck Depends when i can get those funds back...
Spring is here. Sparky washed his truck. Which reminds me to do mine...
yeah washed it so well the paint came off... lol... not that washing it did much good.. got the salt off it but now its being turned yellow by all the trees...
It does beat the alternative, Pat.
Remember that old commercial? "You're not getting older, you're getting better"
Wifey says I'm just getting older...
