Yes, the button having to be pressed each time is why the company that makes the module sells so many...LOL

Got all the mods done on the Jeep yet Rodney? Looks nice!

More dirt for me today. Finished spreading what was left in the trailer and went for some more. Only got 1 yard.......probably should have gotten 2 again. Will see what happens. Got this dirt from my neighbors hardware store, along with some of his custom blended grass seed. The other 2 yards I got somewhere else because I was already near them, and much cheaper than the neighbor. Neighbors topsoil is SO much nicer! I'll pay his premium from now on. Black stuff is from neighbors store and the light stuff is from a major landscape supplier.

Some of the yard was long and dry enough to hit with the new mower.......................cuts very nice, even at speed. Some weeds get missed at full speed. But the Exmark I demo'd had the same issue. Slow down just a bit over them and all good. Mowed the side yard and most of back yard in about 15 minutes. Should have done this sooner!

Sounds like spring progress Scott. Grass get's it's first cut here tomorrow. Got a bunch done on the Jeep today. TBC and hardwired radar detector tomorrow before mowing is all that's left...

Got a new project for the RV too. Going to change the twin 50a breakers for my hydros to a single 100a to eliminate cutting out. Will be ordering that soon...

Spring progress is going, but damn there is a lot to do this year! The dump trailer has been used every weekend for the past 6 weeks. Tomorrow my tree guy comes to grind 8 stumps. Then I can patch and seed those spots. If I get all the topsoil out this week I can get 4 yards of mulch next weekend.....................can't wait for May 18th and our first camping trip for a break! Of course that means i need to wash and wax the camper, wash the truck, dewinterize and sanitize the camper water system. Sooner or later it's got to get easier right?

Never drove a zero turn before, going to need some time to practice with it.

Trying to catch up.
Nice GC Rodney ! I approve of the color too
Bruce, great shock review, and sweet Ferris mower !
One word of caution, stay off the slopes till you get some seat time.

Definately a bit of a learning curve. I'm pretty slow along the flower beds yet but wide open it's not a big deal. My first time with the Exmark demo i was really wondering if it was for me on the first few laps. They react fast and i wound up in the flowerbeds a time or two!

Definately good words of advise! I bounced the Exmark I demo'd off a tree in the first 75 feet of being in the grass on a sidehill. Panicking only makes it worse. Tried the same spot again before I loaded it up, missed the tree but it was still a wild ride. Pulling the levers back to neutral or reverse only makes it slide faster!

That Ferris looks nice! Been using zero turns commercially for years now, there is an art to it for sure.

That's why got my mom the Cub Cadet with the steering wheel. Took a lot out of the learning curve for a 70 year old woman with a new 60 zero turn. You should see her knock out the field... She still has a JD 4WS lawn tractor with bagger for the manicured lawn around the house.

Hope I am still able to cut my grass when I'm in my 70s.
