I have two snow blowers but I go south for the winter so I don't use either of them

East coast is supposed to get a fair bit of snow this winter but the people who come up with this information are never right anyway.

Rodney, buy 6 tires and then if you don't need them you can just send them to me. My truck will need new ones before the winter and I don't mind if they are Michelins or GY's

I am looking at used ones though....
I'll give you mine. Just a little two smoke single stage unit, but shipping might be a little salty...lol
I'm putting a plow on the quad this year, won't need it anymore.

That's what I thought as well, until the Wifey started questioning why I got to run the 4wheeler on the lane while she had to shovel the walks and the patio.....needless to say I wasn't changing jobs, so now I have both.

So, I just ran the numbers on playing the tire and wheel thing two ways. Like the previous gen, you can't order the camper package and the 20's. So one or the other is getting added later. I was planning to add the sway bar as it's only about $125 and bolts right on. But then I thought of it this way. I could order the camper package for $149 and get the 18" wheels and tires instead of paying Ford $1225 for the 20's. Then buy a set of new take off 20" wheels on eBay for $1100 and the tires I want for $700. When the truck comes in, I could have the dealer pull the TPMS sensors off the 18's, put them on the 20's and mount up my tires. Then I'd have a set of brand new 18" wheels and tires to sell. The difference is about $575 but I'm sure I'd get more than that for the 18" wheels and tires on CL. So, I'd actually make a few bucks on the deal if I'm willing to go through the hassle. What do you all think? Makes sense or too much work to make a few hundred bucks?

Sounds like a good plan, but you could always keep the 18" and put real sticky snows on them and good towing tires on the 20" and get the best of both worlds as with a combo anything there is always a compromise.

I could Carl but honestly, even when plowing, I've never seen the need for more than a good quality AT tire. Although, I suppose it would fun to have a winter set of 18" AT's and a summer set of 20" AS. I just can't justify the expense in my head though.

Well, I pulled the trigger today. Ordered the Nokian Rotiiva AT Plus 20's for my 2017. Got the for a very good price from Simple Tire. I have a new plan for the take offs. I'm going to trade them to my selling dealer for a few things I want done before I pick up the truck. First is break down and mount and balance my new tires. Then order all the parts to install the sway bar and install it. Lastly, I'm going to have them spray Rhino Liner on my running boards. Won't cost them but $150 in materials and some labor in exchange for the tires and I'll end up with the tires I want. Good deal for everyone I think.

Yep, it's a great option. First, I don't like chrome much but I find it absolute silly on someplace getting hit by rocks and stepped on daily. Second, the chrome always looks bad there in no time and starts to corrode and peel in time. Third, the new extended running boards that I'm getting are 2/3rds chrome and 1/3rd black. The extended part looks like and add on afterthought being a completely different finish. This will make them uniform. Lastly, the nice flat bedliner finish will last forever there not deteriorating over time. I've seen a few guys do it and one posted pics in the 17 section. Rodney likie.
