My Ranger is my first ATV. I am amazed at how much faster I can travel on dirt roads in the Ranger than in a regular vehicle. A few years ago I was at a campsite in Wyoming that was 23 miles from fresh water, down a dirt Forest Service road. I took the ATV instead of my truck. It was a much faster and comfortable drive.
Thanks Rod... Been awhile since I've logged in, just got an email about being tagged in a post.
The RZR was an impulse buy, I definitely didn't need a new one, as my 2017 XP1k is still like brand new with less than 500 miles on it. I was down in KY with a buddy to pick up his new trailer and Marshall's was right around the corner. The deal was so good, I couldn't pass it up, so we threw it on his trailer and brought it home. Now the work begins on stripping the accessories off the old one and re-installing on the new one.
PS, Congrats on becoming a moderator!

Now, however, the toys are replaced with a Can Am Spyder. Just waiting for delivery!

I'm always surprised at how well my current machines do on mileage too Jim. Back in 2008 I had an Outlander 800. It was right when they started shooting for better mileage for off road vehicles. The HP dropped significantly and the motor temps went way up from running so lean. Not my favorite machine for sure...
Just found a new gizmo to get excited about for the new house. Leviton has come out with a "smart" load panel. All the smart breakers are connected to a WIFI module. You can name each breaker and a phone app can tell you if any are tripped and what each is drawing. You can also set your utility rate and monitor usage to know what next months bill will be. Cool stuff for sure...
