Morning guys. Anybody notice if eBay is still doing % off coupons since the 1st of the year? I kind of forgot about them due to being on a big save getting ready for the move but might need some stuff for the move. Moving blankets etc. If anyone sees one pop, post it up!

Home and termite inspections were yesterday. Just waiting for the radon test to complete and then we (hopefully) sign the P&S. Once that happens it's time to start packing...

Sounds like things are getting exciting.

The HF ones are a little thinner cheaper quality than the ones I like on eBay. They go buy weight per dozen. 85# per dozen is a better one like what you'd rent at uHaul. HF and the cheaper ones on eBay or Amazon are more like 35-40lbs per dozen. Lots of reviews of the cheap ones tearing coming out of the package. I may stop in and check out the HF ones in person though. Thanks for the idea Chad...

Is ebay in trouble?

I know it has changed alot since its inception. I rarely bother anymore. the only reason i used to shop there was it was a good source for used parts, buy/sell them with individuals. Few and far between on there now.

Three times. Once into storage in my mom's outbuilding, again up to the new place into our barn, then finally into the house when it's done. Going to use the blankets to stack things too so they need to hold up. We have a lot of antique furniture that is perfect. If I'm the one to scratch something after over 100 years, I would be a bit upset with myself...

eBay really abused it's sellers to the point where it's more of an Amazon competitor as opposed to a peer to peer auction site.

Congrats on your sale and plans to build!
We just moved into our new/retirement house at Christmas.
We lived in our 30' Artic Fox trailer inside our enclosed shop for 10 months during construction.
It was not bad at all, great to be on site. We also have a 32' x 38' insulated and heated garage on site with full bathroom/shower that we used as our living room.
It is great to be in the house and we enjoyed the build process thanks to a great builder and subs.
Now we move onto landscaping and turning the mud into a lawn..... Not an easy task with 2.5 acres to play with.
We stored all our possessions in the shop during construction.

Sounds like a similar situation for sure! We're excited and nervous all at once. 4 days until the P&S deadline so it's just about go time...

No coupons have been issued since Christmas season. I've been eying one as well for a mulittude of purchases, but will wait until I see one. Its about the only way to buy things that have controlled market pricing from the original manufacturers.

That 7.3 is quite the motor no? I can see the new lower F250 with the 7.3 in sport trim swaying me from my 150 dirty thoughts... (Once the house is built and the RV is sold...)

I would go that way, rather than the F-150 too!

Yes it is. Everybody is speculating about the numbers. Ford says best in class, which means it will be >410HP and 464lb-ft. Even though it might be easy, I doubt Ford will allow the gas engine to out-horsepower their diesel. I'm thinking 425HP and 500lb-ft? Pretty conservative, but Ford says this engine is designed for longevity.

My tentative plan is to keep my current RAM diesel and buy a fancy gas Super Duty. Maybe a King Ranch...I miss my 2016. All depends on the economy and finances.

I agree that it won't out HP the 6.7 BUT we have no idea what the HP number will be on the new 6.7. Ford not only said best in class but also said it will be squarely between the 6.2 and the 6.7. I'm hoping for a bit more than your conservative guess Tyler... I really like the pushrod, port injected design too. I bet it will sound amazing with a mild dual exhaust on it. I miss a little V8 rumble...
