Today is the day........
Bruce, I think I posted this before but I had one previously that I bought in 2007. It was an absolute animal that I abused for 5 years with nary an issue. Vanguard commercial engine. HD wide body frame. HD flywheel with 2 cutting edges. ETC. It was their second from the top back in 07. This time I went to the top figuring it would be even better. The opposite was true though as the new one was scaled back in every regard other than rated chipping diameter. Lighter, narrower, smaller single cylinder engine, single cutting edge, etc.
I'm not sure if the in home trial is always going on Bruce. When I bought mine, it was at a sale price plus the 1 year in home trial. Sometimes it's 6 months. I think sometimes it's not offered at all? But yes, it was a great promotion and one I honestly thought I would never have to use...

Today was the day for the Nissan Leaf to get a mod. The front license plate bracket is utter crap. Every time I go through the carwash the license plate gets bent up. Today I replaced the bracket...with an aftermarket bracket for a Superduty! I made a minor modification to the Superduty bracket and used longer screws and it works great. I spent a whopping $13. I think it would have added 5 HP if my car actually had a HP rating.
Got one last camping trip in last weekend for some fall colors. Camped at Tawas Point State park and did color tours along the AuSable river.
Boat dock that is now landlocked due to shifting sands at the state park.
Stairway father down to the shoreline.
AuSable river is largely spring fed.

Rodney, thanks for the pic and the info! We've been out enjoying our last camping trip of the season.
I think you may have hit it, but off just a bit. See the small residue in the second pic? But that is right under the 'T' in the middle of the first pic, just to the right of where you pointed out. It's almost dead-center. I think if it were leaking from the 'T' on the left, it would run the other direction. And that little bit of residue is the ONLY evidence I see.
Side note, is it supposed to be that rusty down there? I don't recall my 6.4L being that rusty. And this truck is always garaged.

I'm a software consultant/computer programmer. I also have my own business on the side (doing the same thing) to help pay for my truck and camping expenses!
Since we're discussing professions, I'm an IT manager and have a side landscaping business.
