Today is the day........
Bruce, all you needed was a quick tap with a hammer. Mine works amazing now!
Thanks for the complements guys. I’m actually off, but I didn’t have time to post it up last night after we got it. It was late when we got home and we still had to feed our gang, and get dinner for ourselves as well. Best part is, the new wipers work QUITE well. The bonus is that I don’t need an oil change now.

Yesterday's ride matched the pics I posted. Pretty calm and scenic. Today's was a little more active. Got a good night sleep and nice cool temps to start with in the AM. I thought I was smelling things on one portion of the trail. It smelled like something I read about in a book in the library a long time ago... Then I looked left and found the source.
Found our way to a tiny little town store and grabbed some snacks. On the way back, I noticed that my machine was pulling hard to one side. I thought that the trail was uneven but this was too much. Pulled into a little cut out in the woods as the girls were feeling the call of nature anyways. I looked hard at my front tires but they seemed to be square with each other. I then walked to the tree line to take care of business. When I turned around I found the cause of my pull. Right rear tire completely flat. Well, isn't that nice. The good news was, I had, for the very first time on an off road trip, packed the mini 12 compressor and tire plug kit that normally stays in the front storage compartment of one of our Spyders. Without even rolling it forward, Maryann spotted the small slit in the tire. I reamed it out, got a plug threaded, applied some rubber cement to it, and fired it in. Compressor had it blown back up in about 2 minutes. Wow, first time I've ever had to do a trailside repair. Ever. Guess I can't say that again...
Other than that, St. Agatha Maine is treating us well. Beautiful area, REALLY nice people, and a great family trip overall. A few more shots from the trail...
Here's the end of Route 1 in Fort Kent.
