You would be correct Dave, but the full hook sites at south Higgins don't accommodate rigs our size unfortunately. We decided to go there for labor day weekend as well, they will have the first loop shutdown for construction by then, so perhaps a few more full hook sites will appear. Is holland SP still a "dry" campground?
Scott, that was the Port Huron, MI KOA. I can't remember their classification....a gazebo or super site maybe?

Technically, yes still dry. However, if you keep it in a red Solo cup they don't bother you, unless you are breaking some other rules at the same time. The F/H accomodate up to 50' rigs, and there are probably 60 or more of them.
Looking at my first post, i realized a wasn't clear on that was two different campgrounds.... the fancy site was the KOA, the lake pics were south Higgins lake, but i didn't get a pic of the campsite....

Might have to look into a kegerator for the camper..... lol
Dave, you get the email about the Michigan chapter GTG? Real easy drive for you. At this point me and Rich are for sure camping, but I'd expect a few more to visit during the day.
You laugh but a Kegerator was a factory option from XLR for a few years before I bought mine. It came built into a rolling cabinet that also housed a big TV and radio so you could roll the whole party outside. And to think... that KOA thought I was trouble for bringing a silent battery powered golf cart to get the family to the pool...

If something changes be sure to call. If your nearby, swing by for a beer.
I bought a short antenna to replace the OEM one so it doesn't scrape against my garage door and frame. I have no idea where I put it. It's somewhere in the garage.
