I read that but that's OK. We aren't looking to do large multiple loads like at home. Just a load here and there to get the ice cream off my daughter's shirts, the wine off my wife's, and everything else off mine...

No prob Scott. They were easy to deal with. I had the unit within 3 days of ordering! I am always nervous ordering from a new place. So many places are run out of a home office, stock nothing, and have everything drop shipped. They are usually impossible to get a hold of and it takes forever to get tracking info, never mind getting the product shipped. This was not the case here. They used RL Carriers who called the day before to confirm and the driver called when he was 15 minutes out. He came with a liftgate on his semi but I met him at the end of my driveway and we just transferred it to my truck bed. I didn't want him to have to hand truck it down my 500 foot driveway.

I was thinking about one of those combo units for our Fiver but after talking with a couple of friends that went that route and some of the reviews, it sounds like they worked well at first but they have their flaws.
What I heard - and will be interested in hearing your reviews was - they only did really small loads (like one pair of jeans and a shirt) and then they took a really long time to dry. One friend had the combo unit that used propane for the heater and said that it worked pretty well but sucked the propane down worse than the wife spending the day baking...
The other friend's was all electric - both have pulled them and recovered the space for other things and now rely on the laundy facilities that seem to be at all the CG and trailer parks they use..
Again - I am still open and collecting data points...

Rodney, I like the idea of yours being in the garage as it won't hurt much if it leaks. For those of you that are thinking about putting one over carpet, get the drip pan and put under it. In case of a leak, you won't ruin the floor, provided you catch it quickly enough. I'd never thought of that until last summer and one was at my dealer to have the section of floor under the unit replaced due to a leak. I like that unit Rodney, would really come in handy at times. I too have the W/D prep, only I use my closet for storage right now.

I went with the vented versions. I didn't want all that humidity from the non vented getting into the trailer and creating any mold.
On the right side of the RV you will see the Vent Cover. I went with the Chrome piece versus the plastic piece.
