Steering wheel base questions
I have a 1978 steering column in the truck and I'm replacing it with the original 1974. The only steering wheel I have is the 78's and when I went to bolt it on the 74 the 78 is 4" wide at the base and the 74 column is 3 1/2" wide.
I've been looking on eBay for a 3 1/2" base steering wheel and can't find any.
What years can I use to fit the 74 with a 3 1/2" base?

Don't want to pay a arm and a leg. I might need a lower shaft as well and thats a couple hundred dollars and I'm replacing the turn signal switch and upper and lower bearing. IMO, what a waste of money, because it's just gonna be a farm truck.
