front wheels align/ camber/....
My front wheels tires are wearing on the outside edge fairly fast.
more one side that the other. as they wear out the car pull to the RH.
looking at it from the front and far it appears that the camber is excessive, wheels look like in a slight \..../ .
Question is: Are these trucks model year have a camber adjustment?
i looked at it and it look like like they don't but i am not expert and i will take it to a pro (after i replace the shock and front spring(coil) as i did not want to do a front wheels adjustment until i replace these anyway.
the lower ball join does have a large washer plate with some teeths on it but not sure that drive an exentric to adjust camber unless i dismantle.
The manual for that truck Haynes has no info's on wheel adjustments except generic. look like my front suspension is the stamped one, not the forged one based on the way it connect to the radius Arm.
anyway if anyone known, let me known
thank
Ride height is critical to the alignment. I see you are messing around with the springs. If you or the previous owner have put in a spring that is too strong or too tall, you will get the problem you are talking about. If it's way to high, then the guy is not going to be able to get it aligned, the eccentrics have limited adjustment.
You mentioned you were going to put one front spring in. I would only put in matched pairs if you are putting in used, or buy two new ones. If you can get the ride height down a little bit, you will be doing yourself a favor when it comes to alignment time.
