Help crank no start!
Hello everyone so I have a 2004 f350 6.0 powerstroke i recently fixed a oil leak in my remote oil cooler and after I was finished it ran fine and ran fine for a few days I noticed yesterday it had a bit of a rough start and some today but would start and run normal. Started the truck this morning and drove it a bit and then let it sit while I went to the dentist came back out and truck wouldn't start. I am getting 200-330 icp with the ipr cycle at 88.5 ficm sync is good and colts are at 12.5 unplugged icp sensor to see if it would start after that and it disnt start so I ruled that out. I'm currently waiting on AAA to bring my truck home for me but trying to make sure I'm right to start working on it tomorrow. I am thinking the ipr valve is clogged. Am I right to think this may be the issue? When I first installed my remote oil cooler I had the same issue crank no start turned out to be the ipr valve was gunked up and I ended up replacing it 300 dollars later. Then it started and everything was fine. So basically am I right to start at the ipr valve or should I start somewhere else?

I hate to say it but you have a leak somewhere in the HP oil system.
The IPR is fully closed trying to build pressure and failing to make it.
That said the PCM never commands the IPR closed more than 85% that I have ever seen.

Is this a late 04? Since you have a history of a clogged IPR, its easy enough and won't cost anything to pull it and check the screen. The 85% is a command and doesn't mean the actual position of the IPR.
I'd then do an air test. Once you charge the system with air listen for leaks. Activate the IPR and verify the IPR isn't stuck open and leaking. While it's activated listen in the oil fill for a possible leak such as a dummy plug oring.

Most of the time you dont have to replace the ipr. Get a replacement screen kit and do the following. Remove old screen, take a 3/16" screwdriver and press the plunger under the screen in, while holding it in flush with brake cleaner then blow it compressed air. Install new screen and fire it up. Remember a little bit of priming my be necessary. I have seen some iprs hung open with a perfectly intact screen.

I tried getting a ipr socket from Eppy's around the corner from me they said last time at least it would take a few days to come in :/. Do you think I would be able to reach in with an adjustable wrench?

Okay so I pulled the ipr and it was relatively clean but still cleaned it out and out it back in and still no start but the icp was at 550 but then would drop to 330 then back up to 450 so it would fluctuate between 500 and 300 but I did notice there seems to be oil in my coolant and coolant in my oil so where do I go from here?

I don't have a coolant cooled oil cooler I have a custom air cooled oil cooler that is definitely not giving me issues.

It's not a kit made by any company it's a custom one its basically the stock oil cooler housing with the bs ports welded shut and with 2 12an ports welded on then hoses running to a remote thermostat oil filter and cooler then back to the oil cooler housing and I checked and all components are fine so I'm guessing it's either a hpo leak or failed pump since the icp was fluctuating rapidly between 300 and 550 or a head gasket leak. What just doesn't make sense to me is that it hit 550 but didn't start.

I agree there is a leak which like I posted earlier should be checked for by pressurizing the system with air.
A larger concern to me is how oil and coolant is mixing back and forth as you stated?
