That is sweet! I'd love for mine to look like that. Always been a fan of grabber blue. For me, it sits just right. Everything is simple, tasteful and well done.

I meant to add, I think it's great that he included a fair number of the build pictures.

I also like his approach on the T5 rear mount/crossmember cut. The ends of the remaining crossmember are tied back to the new trans support. The trans support could be a little stouter but at least the ends of the old c.m. won't be flopping around when you put on the brakes. Still allows the trans to be dropped, too.

I agree. The build pics were interesting and added great documentation. I saw the crossmember treatment and agree there, too. It seems like a lot of thought went into the build. The 49K buy it now may sound like a lot, but one couldn't duplicate it for that. I did notice of the 27 bids bringing it up the the 33 mark, almost all of them are from a zero feedback bidder.

I had to add braces to the old X member stub. Way too much flex when pushing the pedals. I think this might get over looked in some T5 swaps.

Just don't step on the running boards!

Tinman addressed it in his build, a lot of people don't. I don't think this truck's arrangement (in the auction) addresses it adequately, but it's better than some.

Im selling a quad right now on ebay, all but one bidder has 0 feedback.
Im a little worried about it. However, most of the high priced items I sell strangely come from the 0's

Also, when I'm selling something, I usually put my nice cars in the background to show people I'm not hurting for money, I'm not a junk collector, and I take care of my stuff. Realistically, none of those are entirely true.

Very nice. I like it. I was thinking of putting the exrta grill teeth on mine. Looks good. Maybe next project. I love the price. The more they're worth, the happier I am.

I found the same thing when my truck was down to the bare frame. I added a piece of angle iron to connect the two parts.
