Why am I not allowed to add attachments to a post? If I include a Photobucket link then the message panel shows the photo and not just the link?


I have a bunch of question on my F1 rebuild but can't post with photos ?

I see you've been a member for quite a while, but only have 7 posts. You may need to make a few more to pass the security level needed to add photos or attachments.

 

On Photobucket, you have a choice of Direct link, Image, etc. If you don't want the picture to show, only the link, pick the Direct Link.

Ross, I want the picture to show but in the edit area the photo shows after I do a preview and stops me entering more message info?

 

Scroll down, you can't edit in the preview area.

 

I'm not explaining the issue well, my fault. I have been a member of other forums for many years (ffcars.com). When I create a new post I typically write something, insert a photobucket link then preview the post. This usually allows me to continue writing the new post without the photo appearing in the editing area after the preview. That is not happening when I do the same approach on this forum?
May be as suggested, I don't have enough posts yet?

 

Post count doesn't affect the ability to insert photos, only PMs and classified postings, I believe.
