Electrical help

Just finished installing a couple of 2011 F150 Lariat seats in my 1976 F350 supercab. The driver's seat is powered. Now here's the problem--the seat controls move the seat in the opposite directions of the switch selections. I know the chassis connector is wired correctly; if the polarity on the seat connector is reversed, would that cause my condition to occur? Is there any risk changing the polarity on the seat connector to see if that would correct the problem?

If it's not a polarity issue, what else could cause this to happen?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

How most 3way switches work in fords is to reverse polarity, so yes, if you change the polarity to the switch connector you should be golden.

Will be waiting for pics.

Thanks

I'll reverse the polarity on the seat connector tomorrow, and try to get some pics posted. I think they look pretty good. Need to start looking for a center console to complete the job.

Thanks again for responding.
