So, thanks in large part to this forum, my truck is dependable enough to actually drive it places. When it arrived from CA, it was painted, had a seat, but that was it. I had no wipers, lights, horn, stereo, not 1 gauge functioned, exhaust was messed up, no reverse, no seat belts, spare not mounted, and the choke was useless - under hood wiring was real bad as well. In short, it looked great but was a mess .. A buddy and I, with extensive help from the forum, fixed all of it:
All lights and gauges function, stereo installed, exhaust sorted, spare mounted, seat belts in. Underhood wiring (mostly fixed) horn works. In may the engine comes back out for paint and detailing.
Here's a before and now shot (last week actually, snow's gone now).
Been a member since 04 (I think), absolutely love this forum.
