I was hoping I could order a 2015 but who would have thought you only have 16 days in 2015 to order a 2015 truck. Hope I like the 2016's!!!
And how can I order a 2016 when they haven't released any specs yet?
Because 16's will be identical to 15's, and all the changes will roll out in '17. Same as when the "2007" model year was produced almost entirely before July 2006.
I hope they do stay the same. I know a lot of people say the design is getting tired and needs an update, but I love the current styling. Not sure if the new will be to my style or not. I will wait for rebates on the 16 so it looks like I have 8-10 months to wait before ordering.

We are discussing changes on the super duty like boxed frames and an aluminium body but those will not come before the 2017 model? But again this 2017 model i guess will come out early 2016 so is that the reason why we are discussing it already in early 2015???

Yes, the new body truck will be a 17 model, and probably produced in the first quarter of 2016. Just like the 99's which were hitting the lots in February of 98.
I just ordered a 15 F350 this past Thursday. The order dates posted above are for a fleet company. Donlen is a fleet lease company. They probably have a different order timeline than an individual purchasing a truck.

The 2016 Order Guides have been out on the web for about a week. (TDS)
The only changes are:
On a diesel the Rapid heater is standard in Cold weather states, the same as the block heater states.
New option is four corner strobe lights. (Fleet orders only)
and they drop the Color (15) Black for a New Black and (15) Red for a New Red. (for all I know now, these might be the same colors, just name changes..??)
we are looking at building a new wrecker and are not having any luck finding any 15 550 so we might end up looking at getting a truck built from ford which looks like will be a while before they start rolling into the dealerships

Talked to the dealer today to order a 2015 SD and they said Ford was still accepting and did not know about the 2016 yet. I would like to know before spending 60k on a truck.
If the "16's look like the 15's you're in luck. Supposedly the next changes will have the Super Duty looking like the 150. Sorry, I like the 150 but not as a big boy. Also look out for all the aluminum. I know the benefits but I like steel. I just got my "15 and I feel fortunate to have it because I was afraid the 16's would be when they started looking like the 150's and maybe have all that aluminum. Someone said earlier they may make the 16's like the "15's and make the big changes for "17. Who knows but I like what we have now and I wouldn't risk it. Maybe they will give some good rebates if they change. I bought a 150 in the fall of '10 and Ford threw money at me because the ecoboost was debuting in "11 and they wanted the "10's gone. Good luck.
