Bushing Removal Tool
Although I bought new pins and bushings for the front springs on my 55, I did not get the Bushing Removal Tool that Mid Fifty sells. Has anyone used it and is it worth getting? How is it used? This will the first time I have ever done this swap out and want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks.

Its a steel rod that has the dimension of the inner and outer diameter of the bushing. Any steel rod that has the correct diameter can be used.

A press is recomended as you will damage the ends of the bushing if you hit it with a hammer or similar.
Either was you still need to ream them out when pressed into place

Ive heard of people burning themout with a blow torch. Smells, but simple. I had a buddy buy a press and it worked on my 64 F100. But as we were using it he mentioned how a torch would be easier. Ive never seen it used but could see how it would work.
