Rigid LED fog lamps

in case you've been on the fence, like I've been for about a year....just DO IT. What a difference these lights make. The pics are taken just a dusk so they are much brighter than they appear in the pic. I replaced my lamp housing also with go recon and what a crappy set up this has been so if I'd have to do it over again I would have just done the fog lamps. Here is the setup I used
Amazon Amazon
Here are a couple of images

Looks great Montey!!

I have done the headlights, but I have been hesitant on the fogs. What rigid light did you use(driving, spot, flood, etc) and also which mounting bracket? Also, do you get flashed? I have a pair of D2's on the shelf, but no mounts yet.

Oops, I didn't see the link to amazon at first.

Just an FYI that Rigid has released a DOT legal Fog light. Uses a combination of the hyperspot beam and lense fluting to disperse the beam so it creates a true flooding fog light beam pattern. But you won't get the distance out of them.

Rigid Industries DOT legal lights

I personally have a SR2-20" Combo LED light for driving in the boonies at night. Definitely not road legal but they sure light everything up when nobody else is on the roads.

these are the ones I got 1999-2015 Ford Super Duty LED Fog Light Bracket/Wiring with Rigid Dually
Frankly the guy at Diesel Cartel hooked me up because the bracket already came with the setup, guess someone returned it and I called just in time. Here's a picture of the bracket

As for the headlamps, again the same story....luck was on my side. I picked them up from a guy here on the board and should have really done my research better since the bulbs that come on the go recon headlamp housing SUCKS! I called to get a better bulb and it was some $250 so if I would have purchased everything new I'd be looking at well into a grand for "mediocre" at best lighting. I went to amazon and bought some other bulbs until I find replacements that don't cost 250. Had I known better I would have converted my stock housings instead.

How did you wire these in? I plan to do the same as you but with the new high/low D2's. I am unaware of how to wire them in though. I'd like to be able to turn them on with the factory fog switch, and then switch to the high beam with an upfitter. Any thoughts?

it was a plug and play, ask the guy at Diesel Cartel. No ballast, no special wires or anything of the sort. they work with the factory fog switch on the lights, no uplifter needed.
BTW, drove to the airport early yesterday in complete darkness......what amazing lights these are, even beating out my lightbar which now has two blown led's.
