I have a 99 F-350 Crew cab XLT and the cd player keeps rejecting the cds. It will finally go in after maybe 100-150 times. Has anybody else had this problem? If so how did you fix it? I would like to keep the stock look so I am looking for a replacement if no cure is known.
I have the stock Cd/cassette/radio deck out of my '00 SD, and it's for sale. I replaced mine with a Pioneer unit, but it still looks like new and works perfectly...
What did you replace it with? I ask coz I'm looking to replace the AMFM/cass. with a double DIN Pioneer unit. I've not pulled it out yet, but will a double DIN deck fit? Judging by the faceplate on the stock deck, looks like it would.
If a double DIN unit won't, whatcha askin' for your stock deck?
I replaced mine with a single din unit, and then used the small cubby hole spacer to fill the gap. I looked at the double din units, but, I didn't need the cassette player, and they are definitely more expensive.
I've got pics in my gallery of the radio installed.
I'll email you and let you know how much I'm asking for the radio.
Thanks.
