E4OD shift

E4OD shift
Truck is a 1993 F250SC 2X4 with 5.8L and E4OD..
Shift is rather sloppy(slushy). What is best way to
firm up the shifts??
Can anyone comment on the "Jet" shift controller??

E4OD shift
Yeah,I know what you mean.My 1994 pickup has the EFI460 with the E4OD behind it.Real sloppy shift feel.I know Ford upgraded the E4OD for 1995.You might try adding a shift improvement kit.I think there are one,or two companies that offer them for the E4OD.Banks Engineering also has stuff to improve the E4OD's shift feel.

E4OD shift
Do you have the factory size tires on your truck? If they're not then that will affect your E4OD shift points. All you need to do then is reprogram your speedometer, look in tech articles for the instructions.
