Thanks Reid and Boost-Bars for an awesome product and all the help!!!
The install was very straight forward after a quick question about alignment of the hood cap. Don't stress when you assemble the hood cap to the grill before you mount it, looks like the gap is wonky but everything lines up when mounted.
Quick tip also...had the body shop that painted my cap help remove the original grill after I took all the bolts/nuts off as they had a speciality nylon pry/removal tool and were able to get it all off the hood with no broken clips or scratches! They also used masking tape on the hood where they pried off the tabs as an extra precaution.
Boss shocks/coilovers from F150lifts.com go on tomorrow and then I think I'm done.....maybe.
That truck looks awesome. If I may though. Have you given any thought to having the FORD letters painted to match the trucks body color? I just think that would really set the whole front end off.
I've been thinking about it...
Might try some vinyl decal letters that Reid is offering so that if I don't like the look I won't have to do a repaint.
Although I also have a lot of silver going on... so not sure if it would be to much??
