Notice & Question
I have a 2003 F150 super crew lariat and I noticed a defect in the paint in the roof. The roof looks dented in approx 5 spots. I went back to the dealership and they agreed that it should be replaced. Ford has agreed to replace my truck within 30 days because of the problem which is great. The problem is when the truck was painted at the factory there were spots missed on the roof so they sent the truck through again to be painted. There are several mills of paint in some areas and not enough on others (very noticeable on black or other dark colors) and it gives the appearance of dents. Have any of you other new truck owners noticed this? The MGR at the dealership said that it's a common problem in 1 out of every 10 trucks that get delivered. I was upset at first but Ford stepped up to the plate and fixed the problem.
