Ok here is my problem. I have a 1991 F150 with a 302 that I built up alittle, nice cam, 10:1 compression, 1965 289 hipo heads all done up, ported polished, studs, guid plates, and 1.6 ratio roller rockers. To get the stock valve covers to work I had dent the oil baffels in them. This was needed for them to clear the RR and the posi stops that hold them in place. The problem I am getting is that due to the RR I get some decent oil spray/splash, which is good for lubercation, but not good for the pcv valve. The PCV sucks some of this oil up and I have to add a quart every two weeks, or sooner depending how much I drive the truck.
So I relocated the PCV valve to the vent tube hose on the drivers side valve cover and added that hose to the passenger side with a filter. Any problems with doing this? I also figured with the longer hose for the PCV valve I should get less crap going into that #8 cylinder.
Anyone else experience this with the use of RR? or have any other ideas to help elimate this problem.
Razer70....should work but i think the filter may restrict the flow of the pcv valve.Try it if you have a no problems like that run it..Just my oppinion hope it helps.
