2004 f 150 5.4 acceleration problems
I have a 2004 f 150 FX4 120k miles, I recently purchased the truck and have been having some problems. When I accelerate (especially under a load) the rpm climbs a little but tge engine sounds kind of bogged and unresponsive, then all of a suddon (after about 4 seconds) it jumps rpm and takes off like it should. I have changed the fuel filter, engine oil to amsoil, cleaned maf, and throttle body, ran Lucas oil fuel system cleaner (on my second bottle now) I had new Magnaflow cats put on, and $1,300 worth of replacing the intake runner that ford said was causing the problem.
