Trailer Hitch

Does anyone know where to find/buy a good hitch for a 1955 F250? Or should I just have a welder fabricate one?

I get my hitches at jy and ajust to my needs cheaper that way

if you are planning on towing a heavy trailer and/or on interstate: I used a Drawtite 40050 class IV hitch on my 56 panel. It bolted right on.

I like your choice. I compared it to the Curt Manufacturing model to fit the same trucks and it is an inferior design with the center tube bolts loaded in shear. I much prefer this design. On top of that it will fit my 48 F1 with it's 34 inch wide frame and is a much cleaner design.
