Got my new truck weeks ago and finally washed the salt off it and took some pictures. XL crewcab, six and a half foot bed, 5.0 liter. Lariat grille and wheel skins make for a pretty good looking work truck, right?
You can't see it really, but it has the extang full tilt on it from my old truck. I think I am going to go with the Ford black angled step bar. It' only $287.00 and I kind of like the whole black and blue thing.
i've thought about getting a set for my work truck, but the best i was finding was about $75. (that's a little more coin than i wanted to spend on someone else's truck)
nice looking ride!
i've thought about painting that black upper bumper on mine, to me, that's about the only thing on the XL's that really make them look like a work truck. That being said, yours looks really nice with the upgraded grille.
Nationwide hubcaps on EBay. $57.00 with free shipping. Search 17 inch Ford wheel skins. The black upper fascia doesn't bother me on a dark color truck. The door handles, pillar posts, box rails and such just work with the dark blue for me.
Don't know about the Supercrew, but I know the running boards from a 2005 Supercab perfectly fit a 2014 Supercab.
I know because my salesman took the running boards off the 2005 I traded in, and put them on the 2014 I bought. The new 2014 did not come with any running boards or step bar, and I need something to step on to get in, and my wife needed something even more.
