Smoothie wheels?

Smoothie wheels?
will smoothie wheels fit on a 73 f100 disk brakes, the reason i ask is i know some wheels won't work with disk brakes, so will smoothie wheels fit?

the size would be 15x8, there the ones LMC sells for the 67-72

I think the reason the smoothies won't work with disc brakes is because they don't allow air to flow through the rotor to cool them properly. Drum brakes don't have as much friction as disc brakes do so it isn't that big of a deal. But if you really like the smoothy and you don't plan on making some hard stops, they will fit with no problem. Just be weary of hot brakes and inspect them periodically.

I bought a set of stock 15x8 wheels from summit that came with the smoothie center caps. They fit my disc brakes on my '74.just saying.

sounds like they will fit, but haven't seen them on a 1973-79 f100, except for google images.

yeah I might go trial by fire here and get some and if they work then good and if they don't than maybe I can sell them back or so on and so forth
