Missing and chugging
I have an 04 f-350 6.0 and ever since i cut the exhaust off my check engine light came on and i ran a scanner on it an it said turbo default but its not a jacked up turbo.. im leaning to back pressure issues ? i need some help

Do you remember the exact number of the trouble code you pulled? I wouldn't expect your exhaust mod to make it throw a code.
There's so much computer stuff on these trucks it's hard to do much diagnosis without something to read live data with. There are a lot of options and some are suprisingly inexpensive. Click the link below for a general idea of what's available and what they cost.

Since its an 04 i would say unplug the throttle position sensor and see if it still does it. Not sure of your symtoms but mine started out feeling like a miss and progressed to bucking and no power
